Look Nice at a NICE PRICE: THE HIGHER THE HEELS, THE BETTER THE VIEW

CUANTO MÁS ALTOS LOS TACONES, MÁS BONITAS LAS VISTAS

No os encanta esa sensación de rebuscar por el armario y encontrar, escondidos en un rincón del fondo, un par de zapatos monísimos y aún mejor…que todavía llevan la etiqueta? Es una sensación maravillosa… casi cómo esa euforia que sientes cuando te acabas de comprar algo y te mueres de ganas por llegar a casa y volver a probarlo una y otra vez…pues acabo de experimentar todo eso, pero claro, sin haber gastado nada.

Tengo los zapatos desde hace un par de años, me los compré a un precio “de locos” y estaba esperando la ocasión apropiada para estrenarlos… Pero el tiempo pasaba y como la ocasión no acababa de llegar, siempre iban cambiando de sitio en el armario, cada vez más para adentro, hasta que un día se me olvido por completo de que los tenía.

Y como estos días hizo un tiempo estupendo, decidí sacarlos a pasear. Los combine con unos tejanos pitillo rotos, una camiseta de tirantes básica y para darle un poco de chispa al look, lo combiné todo con una gabardina retro, de estampado de círculos.

Hace unos diez años que tengo esta gabardina, y en su día no fue precisamente low cost, pero como he dicho en la introducción de este blog, pienso que de vez en cuando vale la pena invertir más en una prenda, pero sólo si se le puede sacar provecho más que un par de temporadas.

Así que aquí tenéis el look. Espero que os guste.

Don´t you love that feeling you get when you go through the wardrobe and discover, hidden in a backside corner, a pair of very cute shoes and what is even better… they still have the price tag on? It is a wonderful feeling… almost like the euphoria you feel when you have just bought something and you are dying to get home to try it on over and over again…well I have just experienced this, but of course, without having spent a dime.

I bought these shoes a couple of years ago, at a crazy low price, and I was waiting for the perfect moment to wear them. But time went by and the occasion didn’t seem to arrive, so they continually switched position in the wardrobe, every time deeper and deeper, until one day I didn´t even remember I had them.

Since the last few days the weather has been great, I decided to take them out for a stroll. I chose to wear them with a pair of straight ripped jeans, a basic white thank top and in order to add a bit of spark to the look, combined it all with a circle patterned retro trench coat.

I’ve had this trench coat for almost ten years now and when I bought it, it wasn’t precisely low cost, but as I said in the introduction of this blog, I think that from time to time it is worth it to invest more in a piece, but only if it you can use it for more than a couple of seasons.
